Join us for an immersive exploration of the rich tapestry of flavour and colour found in nature, guided by culinary artist & chef Nina Green.
This exceptional experience invites you to explore the intricate connections between the biodiversity of our local ecosystem and the culinary arts. Throughout the event, you will participate in a workshop of wild and cultivated taste exploration, while learning about the importance of colour composition and flavour profiles. Additionally, you’ll enjoy a communal dinner prepared over an open fire.
As we forage, taste, and visualize, you will be encouraged to fully engage your senses, cultivating a mindful relationship with both the food you eat and the surrounding environment. Together, we will delve into the significant impact that colour has on food perception, influencing our experiences of taste, flavour, and even appetite.
This experience is designed for food enthusiasts, home cooks, and creative individuals alike, offering profound insights into how color affects the culinary experience. You'll gain valuable tools to create more engaging and enjoyable food experiences that resonate within family life and beyond.
The event runs from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM and includes a welcome coffee/tea, a taste testing and colour immersion workshop followed by a communal dinner banquet. Please arrive promptly, as we will not be able to accommodate latecomers.
