      <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>GFGM’s founder Nina Green combines plant based wisdom with bountiful, contemporary flavours, ancient Ayurvedic principles, her family roots in German herbalism and Greek cuisine and open fire cooking all in an attempt to bring closer the fundamental meaning of food as life force, nourishment and simply seeks for what the heart truly beats. Nina’s academic background spans from Linguistics, Museum Studies to Anthropology. After years of working in the contemporary arts AND becoming a mother of three, Nina actively embarked on her culinary journey. She completed her professional Ayurvedic chef training at the European Academy of Ayurveda - with further somatic teachings by Dr. Vasant Lad and Ethnobotanic Studies in collaboration with ethnobotanists and herbalists. Her many years of fire cooking and extensive culinary research have deepened her appreciation for indigenous and ancient food practices which she actively puts into her own contemporary practice. As an ethnobotanic chef, Nina loves connecting with plants and people through food, sharing life’s true gifts that are taken with minimal suffering and offering plates upon plates of edible joy.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Nina Green combines plant based wisdom with bountiful, contemporary flavours, ancient Ayurvedic principles, European herbalism and sustainable open fire cooking all in an attempt to bring closer the fundamental meaning of true nourishment and simply seeks for what our heart truly beats. As a private chef, I do love connecting with people in their beautiful homes and work spaces cooking them bespoke menus, but there is nothing more gratifying than getting people - young and old- outside, sharing nature’s true gifts that are taken with minimal suffering and offering them plates upon plates of edible joy.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Workshops - Workshops</image:title>
<image:caption>We offer interactive, Ayurvedic cooking workshops and team dinner experiences using locally sourced and organic produce for you and your work collegues. These specialised Cooking Classes are a fun yet are a profound way of learning how to cook with the seasons, acquiring sustainable kitchen practices and enjoying a delicious feast. They include a cooking demonstration, hands on kitchen experience, a group exercise and ends with a ‘family style’ shared meal. For a special treat and great bonding experience, we also offer Fire and Forage Cooking Classes. Workshop participants are invited to our Sussex Woodland kitchen, where we will forage, chop, learn, laugh and eat together, all around the fire and accompanying birdsong. Workshop duration: 3-5 hours (depending on group size and scope of event). For any enquiries just send us an email.</image:caption>
